Spingle SPM-458 Kuniyoshi

This high-cut model features a print of "The Old Palace of Sōma," a masterpiece by Utagawa Kuniyoshi, an ukiyo-e artist from the end of the Edo period known for his striking style.

This powerful work depicts a giant skeleton in a scene depicting a confrontation between Oya Mitsukuni, a retainer of Minamoto no Yorinobu, and Takiyashahime, the surviving child of Taira no Masakado, who wields sorcery.

It is now gaining popularity overseas as well, and the special exhibition "Kuniyoshi, a Genius of Ukiyo-e," held at the Petit Palais Museum in France, closed to great success.

Its unique ideas and dynamic compositions have attracted attention around the world.
